About Our Club
Find out where we’re coming from.

Formed in 2018, Tallaght Wheelers is a Cycling Ireland affiliated cycling club and caters for cyclists of all levels of ability. Primarily a road leisure cycling club with a focus on social interaction and camaraderie, we meet for club spins on Saturday mornings throughout the year.
We also run ad-hoc events such as cycling in Majorca, club sportives, time trials and non-cycling social events. As a community-based club, we raise funds for local charities each year.
The club is based at the foot of the beautiful Dublin Mountains, which gives us easy access to fantastic hill and flat routes, to enjoy the scenery around Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare.
Club members are willing to help each other, and are on hand to answer any questions as well as providing each other with useful advice and tips. Some of our members have been cycling for over 30 years, so there is a wealth of knowledge which you can be tapped into at any stage.
The club is based out of Cycle Superstore in Tallaght, where all members can avail of a number of discounts.
Our ambition is to grow as one of the friendliest and most sociable clubs in Ireland, with sufficient membership to support multiple abilities and engage in a range of activities.
A club with a vision
We aspire to be a vibrant and inclusive cycling community, that inspires and empowers individuals to enjoy, develop, and excel in cycling, fostering camaraderie and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.
